Hanging flower baskets being readied for downtown

City employees Jackie Chapman, left, and Tim Smith are getting ready to start hanging the new flower baskets which will grace Columbia's Public Square this spring and summer. One basket will be hung on each of the old fashioned lamp posts. Walkway painting will begin soon. They haven't been updated for three years and the City felt it was time to make them more easily visible to drivers and pedestrians. Comments | Permalink
