Potted flowers for dreary days

Veronica writes, "These beautiful pansies (or some other flower) and behind them the dark eyed fuchsia brighten the day. It is dark and gloomy outside with chilling winds... these cheerful flowers remind us the beauty of spring. Their color wows me all the time! In fact with this brilliance I understand why they cannot last. If they were always present their color and glow would not be as special. The short life of a flower adds to its beauty!"
