Elizabeth Ann Posey Scott, 61, Metcalfe County, KY

Elizabeth Ann Posey Scott, 61, of Edmonton passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 12. 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 21, 1960 to the late Rucien and Mary Elizabeth Smith Bryant.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters. Barbara Miller and Cathy Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her husband Sam Posey.


Elizabeth was employed at Save A Lot in Edmonton until its closing. She devoted her life to caring for her family and anyone who came to her in need. She will be remembered for her jolly spirit and warm smile.

She is survived by four children. James "Ernie" England and wife April of Edmonton. Scotty Posey and wife Shelia of Edmonton. Loren Posey and wife Jamie of Glasgow. Loretta Davis of Edmonton. One sister, Connie Bryant of Edmonton. 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Elizabeth will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 17 th at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will from 4-8pmCT Saturday and after 9 Sunday at the funeral home.
