Carlos Wayne Wilson, 77, Metcalfe County, KY (1944-2021)

Carlos Wayne Wilson, 77, of Edmonton passed away peacefully on Friday, October 08, 2021 at his home. Born May 14, 1944 to the late Loren V. and Osie Mae Sexton Wilson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Evan Wilson and a son Tim Wilson.

He was a member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church and along with his wife owned and operated Cave Ridge Pay lake and Restaurant.


Carlos is survived by three children. Connie Shive of Edmonton, Teresa Bunch Odom of Georgia and Richard Wilson of Randolph. Two sisters. Louise Brown of Campbellsville and Mary Helen Rodgers of Columbia. One brother Rick Wilson and wife Sandra of Columbia. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Carlos will be held 11:00 AM, Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 9:00 AM Sunday until service time.
