Anna Frances Price Money, 90, Summersville, KY (1930-2021)

Anna Frances Price Money of Summersville passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center. She was 90 years old.

The funeral services for Anna Frances Price Money will be conducted at 1pmCT on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Meryl Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodges Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Tuesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 7amCT on Wednesday until time of the funeral service.


Anna Frances Price Money of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Lewis Young Price and Carrie Thomas Johnson Price, was born on Thursday, September 18, 1930 in Green County, Kentucky.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a retired inspector for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. after 20 plus years of service and was also a former teacher at the Bloyd's Bluff School.

She united in marriage to Charles E. Money on October 31, 1952 who preceded her in death on May 30, 1986.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Shelia Ann and Les Williamson of Summersville, Sharon Jean and Richard Milby of Glasgow, Shirley Kay and Jerry Bale of Summersville; two sons: Charles Edgar "C.E." Money, Jr. of Summersville and his fiance, Judy Goff, and Michael Scott Money of Summersville; nine grandchildren: Lindsay Joy and Jami Couch, Megan and John Frey, Shannon and Mike Owen, Cheryle and Jeff Stockton, Michael Scott Money, Jr., Charles David Nicholas Money, Tauren Money, Clint and Terra Bale, Kayla and J.D. Jenkins; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Billy Wayne and Louise Price, and Johnnie and Sally Price all of Summersville; brothers-in-law: Haywood Marr of Summersville, James Money, Thomas Money, Bill Money all of Green County; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Money was also preceded in death by a sister: Barbara Jean Marr; and a sister-in-law: Cindy Money.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Hodges Chapel Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
