Louise Butler: Use rumble strips; roundabout doesn't work here
Louise Butler writes:
We already have a roundabout in Columbia. One reason the bypass was built was to avert truck traffic off the current roundabout. It would not be practical to obstruct the bypass with a roundabout. The simplest, least expensive solution would be to install rumble strips and proper lighting with flashing lights on approach to the intersection. --Louise ButlerAbout: - Comments re article 99341 Outrage at 2nd horrific crash in 5 days at Bypass Burkesville
