On Saturday, August 25, 2018 beginning at 5pmCT, the Adair County High School Band will be hosting this pre-season exhibition for local marching bands who wish to perform for the first time in front of a large audience and an esteemed panel of judges in order to receive feedback and critique of their work before the official start to the season. It is an enlightening opportunity for the directors, band staff, and band students to receive professional opinions and evaluation in order to continue to improve their show as the season progresses. In addition to surrounding counties such as Taylor, Cumberland, Metcalfe, Russell, and Barren, attendees will be treated to a performance by the Lindsey Wilson College Marching Band under the direction of former Adair County High School Band Director, Tim Allen. Of course, this event will also mark the premier public performance of the 2018 Adair County Marching Band and their show entitled, "Shadowlands." The Adair County Marching Band, under the direction of Tom Case and assistant director Jordan Humphress, will be performing at 7pmCT. There will be lots of food options available so come hungry and enjoy what local food vendors have to offer! It will be a night full of amazing entertainment, delicious food, friends, and family!
