The new management of the Circle R will be Matt & Jerry Compton and the Compton Family, Jerry Compton said in a telephone update this morning.

The current leasehold, Sammy Genakos, will keep the restaurant through Sunday, August 12, 2018, Jerry Compton said.

The restaurant will be closed for two weeks, Monday, August 13 through Saturday, August 25, 2018, in preparation for a soft re-opening, Monday, August 26, 2018.

In addition to adding Monday to the schedule, Jerry Compton said that the restaurant will be serving locally sourced beef, and will work to have more locally produced menu items.
