VFW Post 6097 First: 1st Memorial Day at new Green Hills Post Breeding resident, decorated combat veteran Paul Smith, keynote speaker Click on headline for complete story By Joe Hare, Commander, VFW Post 6097 The public is invited to our Memorial Day program on Sunday, 27 May 2018 at VFW Columbia Post 6097, 500 Greenhills Road, Columbia. The program will begin at 2:30pmCT, in the Post with our program. The speaker this year is one of our own members, Paul Smith. Paul is a native of Texas and has lived in the Breeding community for several years. He is a retired Major from the US Marines. Paul is a decorated combat veteran during the Vietnam War and a veteran of US Embassy guard duty around the world.
