All churches are invited to come and pray together 4 April 2018 Churches are invited to bring their Wednesday evening congregations and join together as one at Ransdell Chapel. The combined service is for prayer for unity of purpose and spirit in these days, and to remember the peaceful mission and ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr toward bringing about positive change. From Bro. John E. Chowning The public is invited to a Community Prayer Service Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 5pmCT/6pmET in Ransdell Chapel on the campus of Campbellsville University. This service, a time of prayer and worship for unity both in the community and the nation, is sponsored by Greater Campbellsville United, Campbellsville University, with several individuals and churches. We encourage local churches, who have Wednesday evening services, to prayerfully consider attending this prayer service. The service is being held in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in Memphis, TN on the evening of April 4, 1968. The purpose of the service is to come together as a community to pray for unity of purpose and spirit in these days and to remember Dr. King's mission and ministry to bring about positive change. Please join us and invite others in your family, neighborhood, work place, and church to attend. Please contact our office at Campbellsville University at 270-789-5520 or via email at jechowning@campbellsville.edu if there are any questions.
