Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 16 Jan 2018

Indictments brought against 9 individuals from Campbellsville, Bardstown, and Buffalo, KY and Jeffersonville IN, on charges including possession, trafficking, DUI, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 16 January 2018:

  • Anthony S. Nelson (12/02/1976), William Hash Rd., Buffalo, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00001. Charged with 19 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 3 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree. Count 4 - Possession of controlled substance, 3rd degree. Counts 5-7 - Wanton endangerment. Count 8 - Possession of marijuana. Count 9 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance, 2nd+ offense. Count 10 - Operate motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs .08 aggravator, 1st offense. Count 11 - Reckless driving. Count 12 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Count 13 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 14 - Failure to use child restraint device in vehicle. Count 15 - No/expired registration plates. Count 16 - Improper registration plate. Count 17 - Improper turning. Count 18 - Improperly on the left side of the road. Count 19 - Failure to or improper signal. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Robert Miles (08/03/1985), W. Park Place, Jeffersonville, IN Indictment No. 18-CR-00002. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, drug unspecified. Count 2 - Carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Count 3 - Giving officer false identifying information. Bond set at $15,000 cash.

  • April D. Cobb (02/24/1990), Stoner Rd., Bardstown, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00003. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  • Willard Claywell (01/19/1949), Martin Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00004. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Carrying a concealed weapon by prior Deadly Weapon Felony offender. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Willard Claywell (01/19/1949), Martin Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00005. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Same bond as 18-CR-00004.

  • Josh Hicks (08/08/1994), Daniels St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00006. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, concaine. Count 2 - Traffick in marijuana, 2nd or greater offense. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, 20+ d.u. drug unspecified. Bond set at $20,000 USB, home incarceration.

  • Thea M. Harden (10/17/1969), Taylor Blvd, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00007. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Perdeshia J. Faulkner (06/09/1993), E. Broadway, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00008. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond set at $2,500.

  • Eric J. Schorman (11/04/1984), Roberta Ct., Campbellsville, KYIndictment No. 18-CR-00009. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Brian Garrett (04/14/1964), Filray Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00010. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd+ offense, <2g heroin. Bond set at $12,000 cash.
