Chair, Adair County Democratic Party

The Adair County Democratic Party's Executive Committee and county Democrats will meet at 6pmCT, Friday, June 9, 2017, in Lindsey Wilson College's Roberta Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY.

It's time to get organized... it's time we join together, look forward, and plan all the ways in which the Adair County Democratic Party can work to improve lives.

Dinner, on your own, will be served starting at 5:30pmCT for people planning to dine at the Cranmer Center.

The program of the Adair County Democratic Party will begin at 6pmCT, for those interested only in attending the meeting. And in order to make certain that the Cranmer Dining Center will be able to feed all who are interested in joining their fellow Democrats for dinner, please reply to me at 270-634-0504 or contact John Waddell at 651-248-3636 no later than Thursday, June 8, 2017.

Our guest speaker will be Herb Pritchett, a member of the Kentucky Democratic Party's (KDP) State Central Executive Committee (1st Congressional District) and chair of the Henderson County Democratic Party. Mr. Pritchett believes that each county and its Executive Committee is vitally important to the party.

A role he is playing within the KDP's Central Executive Committee is to help build the KDP's grass roots efforts. He will lead a discussion about Adair County Democratic Party concerns and recount some uplifting things going on throughout the state.

In addition, Mr. Pritchett will detail things that are being done in other counties that also might work in Adair County.

I look forward to seeing you Friday night.

- Wendy Butler Burt, Chair, Adair County Democratic Party
