Farmers warned of pesticide scammers

By Nick Roy

Farmers should take caution if they receive a phone call from a company touting new or unfamiliar pesticide products. Phone calls have been reported by farmers that match other reported cases that later turned out to be a scam. Never provide credit card information over the phone unless you are certain that you are dealing with a reputable company. - Nick Roy, Adair County Extension Agent, for Agriculture & Natural Resources, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia KY
