Billy Joe Fudge: Big banana shaped pod from KY Coffee Tree Tree came before addition to City Hall he says. Click on headline for story with photo By Billy Joe Fudge That massive seed pod is from a Kentucky Coffee Tree which is Kentucky's State Heritage Tree. The following is a link to a publication by a good friend and former workmate at Kentucky Division of Forestry: Kentucky Champion Tree Program: Our State Heritage, Kentucky Coffee Tree Just a note, I normally don't sanction the planting of medium to large sized trees as close to buildings as this KCT is growing to our City Hall and did not in this case. The building against which it grows is an addition to City Hall, which came along after it was planted according to my memory. This story was posted on 2017-04-21 08:19:52
