By Anthony Latessa News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - (Fri 30 Dec 2016) The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team defeated Indiana Southeast 82-62 Friday, December 30, 2016, at Biggers Sports Center. The Blue Raiders (13-0) had three players in double figures led by Chanel Roberts who scored a season-high 22 points, Roberts has now scored 1,505 career points. Kayla Styles chipped in with 21 points. J'Nayah Hall recorded her third double-double of the season scoring 13 points and grabbing a career-high 13 rebounds. The Blue Raiders went on a 7-0 run after trailing 7-6 to take a 13-7 lead with 4:25 remaining in the first quarter. The Grenadiers (7-6) ended the first quarter on a 4-0 run to cut the Lindsey Wilson lead to 17-15. The Blue Raiders opened the second quarter scoring 17 of the games next 19 points. Styles scored eight points in the quarter and Roberts scored six. Lindsey Wilson shot 56.3 percent from the field in the second quarter and led 38-23 at the half. Indiana Southeast went on a 6-0 run in the third quarter to cut the Blue Raider lead to 11. Lindsey Wilson took a 60-49 lead into the fourth quarter. The Blue Raiders shot 42.1 percent in the third. Lindsey Wilson went on a 13-0 run to take a 73-51 lead in the fourth quarter. Jocelyn Mousty scored a team-high 21 points for the Grenadiers. Ashley Johnson was the only Indiana Southeast player in double figures with 10.
