By Charles Balcom, Assistant Sports Information Director News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY- The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team returns to action on Friday afternoon as the Blue Raiders host Indiana University-Southeast in a non-conference matchup at 2pmCT at Biggers Sports Center. The fifth-ranked Blue Raiders (12-0) last competed on Dec. 17, an 86-47 victory at Warner (FL), one of nine road games in the 2016 calendar year for Lindsey Wilson. Three Blue Raiders scored in double figures in the victory including a season-high 14 points from Michelle Montgomery. On the year, Kayla Styles is averaging a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds per contest for the Blue Raiders. Chanel Roberts (13.8) and J'Nayah Hall (10.3) are also both averaging double-digit points per game. Lindsey Wilson is attempting to match the program record with 13-straight wins to start the season, a task also accomplished by the 1990-91 Blue Raider squad. IU-Southeast (7-5) also last competed on December 17, a 74-70 road loss to Asbury (KY). The Grenadiers started the season at 7-2 but have since dropped their last three contests, including a 90-69 loss at the hands of the Blue Raiders back on Dec. 10. Hall, Roberts, Teanna Curry, Billie Hearn and Malerie Martin all scored in double figures in that game for Lindsey Wilson. Annie Thomas leads the Grenadiers with 12.1 points per game, followed by Jocelyn Mousty with 11.6 point. Lindsey Wilson holds a 24-5 edge in the all-time series against the Grenadiers.
