By Shannon Sexton

The Adair County Office of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, will be closed Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, 2016, in observance of Thanksgiving. In case of an emergency, dial 911.

We wish you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving and remind you to please drink responsibly.

Responsible Drinking Tips
- Know your limit - don't over consume
- Eat food before and while you consume alcohol
- Remember alcohol may have adverse effects if mixed with prescription medications
- Respect the rights of individuals who do not wish to drink
- Always have a designated driver
- Never provide alcohol to underage individuals
- If hosting, be sure your guests are not over served and have safe transportation home
- Keep alcohol out of reach of underage individuals and children
Thank you, Shannon Sexton, Adair Co. Deputy ABC Administrator
