Cumberland County, KY man charged with murder Update: Suspect name corrected to "Daniel A. Blair" Suspect arrested at 3:20amCT, this morning in Burkesville, KY and lodged in Adair County Regional Jail, Columbia, KY. Autopsy to be performed today in state medical examiner's office. By TFC William Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY BURKESVILLE, KY. (Thu 13 Oct 2016) – 60-year-old Daniel A. Blair, from Burkesville, KY, was arrested today at 3:20amCT, at 427 Veterans Alley in Burkesville and charged with Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence. On Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 9:22pmCT, Post 15 was notified of a deceased male that had been located in his vehicle near Veterans Alley in Burkesville, KY. KSP units arrived and found 38-year-old Mr. Michael Allen Taylor, , of Burkesville, KY, dead with an apparent gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that Blair had been a passenger with Taylor earlier in the evening which later led to his arrest. An autopsy is scheduled for later today at the state medical examiners office. Murphy was lodged in the Adair County jail. Detective Kenneth Brown is investigating.
