Adair Co. Fair Association/ Jaycees work day 15 Oct 2016

Announcement made at Adair Fiscal Court, Tue 11 Oct 2016

Great progress has been made. Saturday, we hope to have all Main Grandstand bleachers removed and to allow Chester Taylor to begin removal of the Grandstand Cover. The Jaycees will provide lunch. With steady progress we will meet the December 31, 2016, deadline set by Lindsey Wilson College. - MARC EVANS.

By Marc Evans, Adair County Jaycees

On Saturday, October 15, 2016 beginning at 8amCT, The Adair Co. Fair Association/Jaycees will be having another work day at the Adair County Fairgrounds, 413 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, continuing to dismantle and store the bleachers at the Joe Collins facility on KY 55 North.

We are asking anyone in the community willing to help to join us. We need trucks, trailers, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, cutting torches, and any other tools that can be used to disassemble bleachers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. - Marc Evans
