54-year-old dies at TRH following Harley vs car collision

Wendell Hitch was operating a 1991 Harley Motorcycle involved with 2008 passenger car. Collision occurred this morning at 08:50ET. CPD Ofc. Jeremy Burris investigated the accident.

News from Campbellsville, KY Police Department

On Saturday, June 11, 2016 at approximately 0850 hrs Campbellsville Police Department responded to the intersection of South Central Ave and Tie Street in reference to an automobile accident with injuries.



A 1991 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 54 year old Wendell Hitch, of Campbellsville, KY, was traveling north on South Central Ave when he crossed the center line striking a 2008 Chevrolet passenger car being operated by 46 year old Debra McNear, also of Campbellsville.

Hitch was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

McNear and a passenger were not injured in the accident.

Agencies involved were Campbellsville Police Department, Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS, and Campbellsville Fire Department
