He was the son of the late Eddie and Helen Polson, and the widower of Margaret Ann Polson. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Robert Polson age 75 of Edmonton passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Saturday, June 11, 2015, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Eddie and Helen Polson.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Stacy Trowbridge and husband Terry of Horse Cave, KY; and Lisa Nance and husband Jeff of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Annie Lee Stephenson of Glasgow, KY; and Brenda Polson of Edmonton, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Rachel (Trevan) Price of Nashville, TN; Lindsey (Nick) Compton of Glasgow, KY; and Kelsey (Gill) Thomas of Glasgow, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Polson; a sister, Sarah Mitchell; and two brothers Gene and Samuel Polson.
