She was the daughter of the late James Walter and Janie Elizabeth Garmon Pennington, and the widow of Edgar "Bud" Davidson. She leaves six direct living descendants, including one son in Columbia, KY, and three daughters and two grandchildren in Burkesville, KY. She died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 81 years, one month and nine days. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and a member of Denney Hollow Jesus Name Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar "Bud" Davidson; nine brothers, Leon Pennington, Radford Pennington, Lester Pennington, Paul Pennington, Thomas Pennington, Clyde Pennington, Perry Pennington, Elbert Pennington, and Willis Pennington; and four sisters, Vinnie Bunch, Stella Stiltz, Pearlie Pennington, and Mary Pennington.
