LWC Football travels to Bluefield for 12:30pmCT kickoff Blue Raiders attempt to maintain their perfect MSC East Division record COLUMBIA, KY - The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson football team plays at Bluefield (VA) on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 12:30pmCT at Mitchell Stadium, 1780 Stadium Drive, Bluefield, WV 24701. (School is in Virginia; stadium is in West Virgina) The Blue Raiders (7-2, 4-0 MSC East) enter this matchup following a 49-10 win against visiting Union (KY) on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Coming into Saturday's game, Lindsey Wilson as a team ranks second in the NAIA with 421 points of total offense this season. Additionally, Blue Raider defender Andrew Wahl is tied for 11th nationally with 7.5 sacks this fall. Behind center for Lindsey Wilson, Branden Cresap has completed 178-of-290 (.614) passes for 2,322 yards and 25 touchdowns. Overall, fifteen different Blue Raiders have scored via touchdown reception this season, including seven by Cortez Barber and five by Tavis Elzy. On defense, Michael Brooks paces Lindsey Wilson with 51 total tackles, including a team-high 33 solo tackles. Eric Shaw has four interceptions this season, while Alex Abner has three to his credit thus far. The host Rams (3-6, 1-3 MSC East) take on a Blue Raider team that has won four-straight games. Bluefield is fourth in the country with 2,809 total rushing yards this season, including a team-high 808 yards by Sam Bennett. On defense, Carlton Toussaint is tied for third in the nation with six interceptions, all of which have come in the Rams' past four games. At quarterback, Bluefield's Ashten Dixon has thrown for 1,141 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Also Dixon has totaled 183 rushing yards and a half-dozen touchdowns.
