By Charlie Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The 11th-ranked Lindsey Wilson football team hosts Union (KY) on Saturday with a kickoff time of 1:30pmCT at Blue Raider Stadium. The Blue Raiders (6-2, 3-0 Mid-South Conference East) are coming off a decisive 91-14 victory over Belhaven (MS) on Oct. 25. The team set a number of single-game program records including most points (91), most touchdowns (13) and most extra points made (13). Lindsey Wilson totaled 525 total yards of offense in the game, its third most of the season. Quarterback Branden Cresap played just one half accumulating 228 yards and three touchdowns. Cresap also surpassed the 10,000 passing yards mark for his career and has 2,047 yards on the season, which is ranked ninth in the NAIA. Josh Noel led the team with 116 receiving yards and a touchdown on two receptions, including a program-record 83-yard catch and run in the third quarter. Lindsey Wilson's defense forced seven turnovers and returned three of them for touchdowns. Reigning MSC Defensive Player of the Week Justin Wade and Steven Turner each posted two interceptions in the game. Union (1-6, 1-2 MSC East) lost 39-32 to Kentucky Christian on October 25, 2014. . The Bulldogs are ranked No. 12 in the NAIA with 37.6 points per game and 16th with 440.9 offensive yards per game. Running back LaVance Anderson has totaled 492 yards and eight touchdowns to lead Union's ground attack. Quarterback Chandler Whittlesey leads the team with 1,614 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. Jake Johnston leads the Union defense with 75 total tackles, while Zach Lewis is second with 55 total tackles. Lindsey Wilson has won the previous three meetings against Union.
