GREENSBURG, KY (28 Oct 2014) - Four men, Barry Stotts, John Lane, Joe Carpenter, and Tommy Peppers, received nominations for the 4th District of Kentucky Fish & Wildlife board at Green County High School on Tue 28 Oct 2014.

Greg K. Johnson, Commissioner of the Kentucky Fish & Wildlife presided, at the meeting, attended by some 150.

Up to five could have been named for forwarding to Gov. Steve Beshear, who will appoint one nominee to represent the Fourth Wildlife District which includes Adair, Barren, Cumberland, Edmonson, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Hart, LaRue Marion, Metcalfe, Monoe, Nelson, Taylor and Washington Counties.

The Governor's choice would then be subject to Senate confirmation. Had over five been nominated in Greensburg, a vote would have been taken to choose the top five. That was unnecessary, but it appeared that over half the crowd was there in support of the first nominee, Barry Stotts of Columbia, KY.
