COLUMBIA, KY - Kenna Richardson from Russell County High School, has signed an NAIA scholarship to join the women's golf team for the 2015-16 season, Blue Raiders' head coach Eric Wyrick announced on Tuesday, 21 Oct 2014.

Richardson has played a big role for Russell County High School leading the team to six state qualifying appearances and five regional championships.

"I could not be happier to welcome Kenna to our team next year," Wyrick said. "I have been impressed from the moment I met her with her understanding of the game of golf and her determination to get better."

As an individual, Richardson has placed in the top-10 at the Kentucky regional tournament five different times and in the top-10 in various tournaments four different times during her senior season.

During the Southeast Summer Golf Tour, Richardson won nine tournaments individual titles.

"Kenna sets high goals for herself, which will only help her game improve to new heights while in our program," Wyrick said. "Her will to win is very strong. She has a great attitude and her ceiling is very high. I cannot wait to watch her on the course next year."
