Click on headline for complete story By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team is tied for first place following an opening-round 329 team total on Friday at the Blue Raider Classic held at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. Joining the Blue Raiders in the top spot are Tennessee Wesleyan and Union (Barbourville, KY). Midway (Midway) sits in fourth with a 349 followed by St. Catharine (St. Catharine, KY) in fifth place with a 390 after the first round at the par-71 course. Shayna Cockrill and Cristina Jimenez each posted a 10-over par 81 to pace the Blue Raiders. Both currently sit in a tie for fourth place. Flore De Faveri shot a 12-over par 83 to put her in a tie for seventh with teammate Amy Brown, who is competing as individual. Kayla Cordeiro is tied for 10th after posting a 13-over par 84. Courtney Swindle finished the day with an 87 in 17th place, while Megan Kriz, also playing as an individual, recorded a 90 and is tied for 19th place.
