Hollis A. Watson, Adair Co., KY native (1930-2013) He was an Air Force veteran and zone manager for General Motors. He grew up in the Woody Avenue/Graded Hill neighborhood of COlumbia and attended Columbia Public Schools and is well remembered as an outstanding athlete on the basketball team. Hollis A. Watson passed away Sunday May 12, 2013 at the Copper Crest Manor in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was 82. A memorial graveside service will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday June 2, 2013 at Antioch Cemetery in Casey County, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Military honors will be by the Casey County Funeral Squad. Hollis A. Watson, Adair Co., KY native (1930-2013) Born October 5, 1930 in Adair County, KY, he was the son of the late Hubert and Siller Watson. He died Sunday, May 12, in Apache Junction, AZ, at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 7 days. He was an Air Force veteran and zone manager for General Motors. Hollis is the widower of Virginia Woodrum Watson , who passed away May 19, 2012. Survivors include:
