The Whitehurst Diaries: Exhausting schedule for Willis the Cat

Click on headline for action shots of Willis executing farm duties

By Sharon Whitehurst

Willis the Cat takes his duties seriously: supervising garden activities, keeping the obstreperous trio of young boy cats in line, patrolling the 'dooryard' with a beady eye for anything that needs his intervention or assistance. This is exhausting work, and Willis occasionally heads for a refreshing wallow in one of the clumps of catnip which have been planted for his convenience. - Sharon Whitehurst
