Once the Blue Raiders built their 33-22 halftime advantage Saturday, they didn't stop from there, scoring the first eight points of the second half. After being tied at 20 late in the first half, Lindsey Wilson outscored MidAmerica Nazarene 21-2 to lead by 19 with 17:52 left to play.

Daronte' Clark scored a team-high 21 points for the Blue Raiders, while Kalen Kimberland added 20 with a 6-for-6 performance from the free-throw line. Clark hit all four of his 3-point tries and matched Darren Ballou with a team-best eight rebounds.

Lindsey Wilson had to overcome a terrific individual performance from MNU's Jacob French with 32 points, including hitting 14-of-15 shots from the stripe.

The lead remained in double figures for the Blue Raiders up until the 1:53 mark of the second half. French's put back made the score 72-64, capping off an 11-2 run for the Pioneers.

After Kimberland's layup on a fast break put Lindsey Wilson up 76-66 with 1:23 left, the Blue Raiders never made another field goal, instead knocking down 8 of 12 free throws to hold on for the win.

Lindsey Wilson outshot MNU 48.3 to 42.8 percent and knocked down seven threes compared to five for the Pioneers. The Blue Raiders took care of the basketball with 16 assists and 10 turnovers, while MNU dished out 10 assists with 13 giveaways.

The battle of the boards was close as Lindsey Wilson held a slight advantage at 35-33.

Monday night's other national semifinal pits fellow Mid-South Conference member Georgetown (KY) against LSU-Shreveport (LA) at 8:03pmCT.
