She was a retired employee of General Electric of Louisville, KY, a member of Burkesville Baptist Church, and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lewis, her son, Gearld Wade Lewis, brothers, Earl and Larry Chaffin, sisters, Dolly Woffard, Violet Chaffin, and Evelyn Bunch.
