Funeral service for Decatur Owens will be 10amCT/11amET, Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Bernard funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with elder Paul Roy and Elder Josh Owens officiating. Friends may call after 5pmCT/6pmET, Thursday, March 7, 2013. Burial in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens, 4790 KY 80, Somerset, KY. Pallbearers: Junior Foster, Royce Dick, Jackie Emerson, Arlin Godby, Charlie Owens, and Danny Luttrell. Decatur Owens, Russell County, KY (1934-2013) He was born Saturday, July 14, 1934 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Perk and Viola (Dause) Owens. He died Monday, March 4, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY at the age of 78 years, six months, and 21 days. He was a farmer and a member of the Cedar Springs United Baptist church where he served as trustee for many years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lenville and Osias Owens and a sister, Dorneth Owens Burton. Survivors include the following:
