Cafe on the Square owners announce it is closing Holds out possibility of re-opening in the future Dear Cafe Family, It is with hope, and great sadness, that we must announce the closing of the Cafe. On Monday, February 11, when you stop coming in, we will close our doors for the immediate future. For the past three years you have been such a BLESSING in our lives! We only hope that we were able to bless you in much the same way?!? As many of you know, for three years we have been operating Cafe on the Square by faith. And God has been faithful, for three years He provided for the Cafe and each of our families. But, it is now apparent that God has either fulfilled His purpose or He is about to take this to a whole new level. It is with broken hearts, many tears, and lots of prayers that we must close the doors. We are NOT certain that God has finished His work with the cafe, but we know that without help, we cannot continue developing the cafe into what it can be. It is our prayer that this closure is just temporary, and that God will use this time to show Himself mightily, bringing His people together to continue the work that He began nearly four years ago. As has been the case since June 28, 2009, we leave the cafe in His capable hands. Please join us in concentrated prayer that God's will be done. Your Extended Family, David & CJ, Ned & Bridgette, Kellis & Cali Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and in all. - Colossians 3:11 This story was posted on 2013-02-11 01:59:15
