Query: Wants details on individuals in Central KY Busline photo

George A. McGaha writes:
I'm seeking some help on identifying names with faces in the attached old photo. I recognize quite a few of the faces in this picture, but can only put a name with the tall guy on the left side of the photo. This is my grandfather, George Simpson. I don't know if this would be magazine worthy or not, but I figured that somewhere between yourself, Hack, and Hunter, you guys would probably recognize everyone in this photo, and possibly the origin of the photo. At the time this photo was taken I figure Hack and Hunter probably spent more time on the Square, and as they say nowadays "hanging out" at the G&M Grill more than Gilpin (Grover) and Morris (Richard) themselves. I appreciate any information anyone could give me on this photo. I have the original photo and can give it to you in other formats if that would help. Thank you, - George McGaha 502-889-7418
Thanks, George Allen: As you round up the usual suspects who might know the answer to your question, you might inquire of the Flowers Bros. - particularly the Joseph Flowers, the youngest of the three. Also: Ann Curtis. Also: David Martin. We know the photo was taken in the Reed Street side parking lot of what is now Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. The busline was owned by Mr. David Heskamp. Hope we get some answers. - EW
