UM Churches set April 27, 2013, is Impact Taylor County Day

United Methodist Churches in Taylor County establishing a day of outreach

By Martha Berry

For the second year, the United Methodist Churches in Taylor County are sponsoring "Impact Taylor County Day." This is a day set aside for volunteers to give assistance to those who have needs, whether repairing home, running errands, yard maintainance, etc.

We are attempting to establish an outreach in all denominations to have a positive impact on the disadvantaged in our communities.

As we draw nearer to the date, there will be more information as well as sign up sheets made available for volunteers and for those who need assistance. Our motto is "One Person Changing One Life in One Day" We have set aside April 27, 2013 to be that day this year. - Martha Berry
