Marsha Peyton of Dunnville, KY passed away Saturday September 22, 2012 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 40.

Funeral services are 2pmET/1pmCT, Tuesday September 25, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Matthew Loper officiating. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 6pm-9pmET/5pm8pmCT, at the funeral home.



Marsha Peyton, 40, Casey County, KY (1971-2012)


Born November 30, 1971 in Ottawa, Illinois, she is the daughter of Mike Rodgers and Sandy Brown Christian. She died Saturday, September 22, 2012 in Liberty, Kentucky, at the age of 40 years, 9 months, and 22 days.

She was a former manager of Dogwalk Market and of the Baptist faith. Survviors include her husband, Anthony Peyton of Dunnville, KY, and the following:
  • Mother: Sandra Kay Brown (Lowell) Christian of Liberty, KY

  • Son: Noah Lawhorn of Dunnville, KY

  • Two daughters: Whitney and Skylin Lawhorn of Dunnville, KY

  • Step brother: Michael Christian of Liberty, KY

  • Five sisters: Michelle (Roger) Carmen of Waynesburg, KY; Melissa (Todd) Vaughn of Dunnville, KY; Michaelena (Billy) Kirkpatrick of Stanford, KY; Michelle (Carl) Chasteen of Fairfield, Ohio; and Lisa (Gary) Simpson of Nancy, KY

  • And a host of nieces, nephews and cousins
Marsha was preceded in death by a half-brother, Michael Rodgers.
