About the Columbia/Adair County Parks and Recreation Board:The board is made up of 9 members, 4 appointed and approved by the City of Columbia, 4 appointed and approved by the Adair Fiscal Court, and 1 recommended by the Board itself and jointly approved by the City and County. The present board members are Chairman Charles Grimsley, Secretary Donna Shirley, Treasurer Bruce White, and Tony Grider, Bobby Bowe, Tommy Steele, Rebecca Schmidt, Billy Dean Coffey, and Greg Thomas.
