By Fran Neat I really want to help this family -Donor on Fixed Income I was out visiting this afternoon, and the topic of Mary's House surfaced. One elderly lady on a fixed income, a lady who pinches pennies to make ends meet, insisted on contributing to the cause after she heard my "Hard-times story about the $20." She told me, "I really do want to help this family." She left the living room; and as she returned, she gave me two $10 bills and said, "Now, go put this in one of those coffee cups!" May she be truly blessed because she has given out of love for the Lord and love for this family. How will you show love today? Today's total does not reflect the $20. This must go in a coffee cup located at a business! - Fran Neat Here's the story of Mary's House and how your can help: Mary's House: the story and the contacts: Cane Valley Christian Church, along with a group of concerned citizens, is raising money to build a new house for Mary McGuffin, a single, working mother with seven children, whose house recently burned. All donations will be escrowed until 100% of the funds are raised. Land and labor have already been donated. Checks are to be made to Cane Valley Christian Church Benevolence Fund with a memo of "Mary's House." Please make all donations by August 1 so that construction can begin.
