Campbellsville Police are investigating death of infant child

From Campbellsville, KY, City Police Department

The Campbellsville Police Department, Friday July 20, 2012, was notified byTaylor Regional Hospital of the death of an infant child.

Campbellsville/Taylor County Emergency Medical Services responded to a call of anunresponsive infant - a 3 month old male - at an address on Mill Street. The child wastransported to Taylor Regional Medical Center and was later transferred to Kosair'sChildren's Hospital where it later succumbed.

Campbellsville Police were notified, of the death and initiated a death investigation. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in Louisville, KY at the State Medical Examiner's Office.

The incident remains under investigation.
