Artist in the dust revealed: Kellis Booth did it! Comments re photo 45842 Art Lines drawn in the dust By Sandy Coomer My son Jordan Coomer was at the Cafe on the Square when this was drawn. Kellis at the Cafe drew this while he was hanging out at the Cafe. It has been very popular. Several people have commented and taken pictures of my dirty van. I hate to see it get washed off. Chances are it will be there until we have a good rain. So everyone can watch for the Adair County Courthouse riding around in the dirt. The van belongs to Johnny Morgan. - Sandy Coomer Thanks! Sandy Coomer, for this great news: Just wonder where the talented Mr. Booth keeps all his hats: He a co-owner of the Cafe, He's a minister and will be hosting the big multi-church July 4 picnic at Jim Blair Park tomorrow, and now we know he's brought a whole new genre of public art to Columbia! Wouldn't surpise me to learn of other hidden talents. This story was posted on 2012-07-03 16:18:47
