National Weather Service site has new look The National Weather Service website has better look this morning - and along with it some better weather, at least as far as the heat and drought is concerned. The high today is only 93. And there are some chances of rain, albeit in the form of thunderstorms. Columbia received a little dust-setting sprinkle last night, enough to interrupt the City Council meeting with a call to open the windows to see the spectacle of life giving rain once again. Although the CM weather always carries quick links to the Mesonet Weather Stations in the 7-County area, and links to Hazardous Weather with a brief from the National Weather Service, those in a hurry to see the new National Weather Service site should click to: National Weather Service, right now. -CM This story was posted on 2012-07-03 04:47:07
