Velma Lou (Tooter) Burton, Sano, KY (1941-2012) She was a member of a large, highly regarded family. She was the widow of Bobby Dale Burton. She leaves eight direct living descendants. She was a homemaker Velma Lou "Tooter" Burton, 70, Old Sano Road, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in the Russell County Hospital, Russsell Springs, KY. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Steve Wheeler and Bro. Charles Edwards the officiating clergy and special music by Emma Lou Bryant. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, July 2, 2012, at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Evan Claunch, Eric Bennett, preston Gaskin, Wayne Gaskin, Leonard Gaskin, and Paul Helm. Velma Lou (Tooter) Burton, Sano, KY (1941-2012) She was born November 12, 1941, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Alice Pointer Gasking and the late William Greene Gaskin. She died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Russell Springs, KY, at the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 18 days. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dale Burton and four sisters, Mrtha Bailey, Lillie Mae Oliver, LaVerne Keltner, and Anna Lois Gaskins; five brothers, Robert Gaskin, Charles Dee Gaskin, William Gaskin, Jr. Walter Gaskin, Phillip Gaskin, and Eddie Gaskin.
