Louise Sullivan, Russell County, KY (1930-2012)

She was a native of Adair County, KY. She was a member of a large, highly regarded family with many ties widespread in Kentucky, particularly in Russell, Green, Taylor and Adair Counties in this area. She leaves 16 direct living descendants. She was retired after a career with Fruit of the Loom

Louise Sullivan, 81, Campbellsville, KY, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill, Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, July 1, at 1pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Steve Wheeler the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Mike Mulberry, troy Skaggs, John Munford, Lewis Bernard, and Moose Linville.

Louise Sullivan, Russell County, KY (1930-2012)

She was born Monday, August 11, 1930, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Nellie Campbell Loy and the late Estil Ezra Loy. She died Friday, June 29, 2012, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Deborah (Donnie) Munford, Campbellsville, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Jennifer Mulberry, Georgetown, KY; Patricia Skaggs, Greensburg, KY; Lewis Bernard, Campbellsville, KY; Joshua Munford, Campbellsville, KY; and Angela Linville, Louisville, KY

  • Nine great grandchildren: hayley Linville, Mason Skaggs, Kenzie Skaggs, Bentley Linville, Katherine Munford, Caleb Munford, Nicole Sullivan, Braden Bernard, and Trevor Linville

  • One great great grandchild: Peyton Grubbs

  • Two sisters: Myrtle Blakey, Russell Springs, KY; and Inez Mills, Campbellsville, KY
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sullivan; a son, Phillip Sullivan; and a brother, Edwin Loy.

She was retired from Fruit of the Loom.

The Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
