Driver injured in two vehicle collision in Russell Co., KY

RUSSELL COUNTY, KY - Tpr. Bryan Shepard is investigating a collision that occurred today at 11:42amCT, 5 miles east of Russell Springs on KY 0080. 67-year-old Harold Erwin of Greensburg, KY, was operating a 1998 Chevy and attempting to pull from KY 0076 onto KY 0080. Erwin pulled into the path of a 2013 Ford operated by 42-year-old Lisa Helm of Russell Springs. Erwin and Helm were both wearing seatbelts. Helm was transported by Russell County EMS to the Russell County Hospital where she was treated and released.
