By Chris Jessie, Public Information Officer, KYTC District 4
News from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (May 13, 2012 - Update 4:28pmCT)Detour routes via US 31W are extremely congested from Park City to Munfordville due to a multi- vehicle crash on Interstate 65 northbound near Cave City. US 31E is also experiencing significant increases in traffic volume from the back-up.

Motorists are urged to use caution as local traffic navigates intersecting roads, especially along US 31E where traffic volume from I65 detours is not common.

Long delays will be likely for the next several hours along both corridors from Park City to Hodgenville. - Chris Jessie
