We are inviting everyone to come join us in helping Mike.There will be a Gospel Singing with Morris Judd, Ray Wiser, and Michael Forbis; and an auction, bake sale, and plate lunches available, as only great Knifley cooks can prepare them. There will be lots of goodies. Already in the auction, there are lots of items including UK/Cats tickets to the first home scrimmage game next season, lower arena, donated by Bam Carney, a guitar from Crystal Music; a front door entrance, from Commonwealth Builders; a 30-40 gallon air compressor, luggage bags, cetificate for yearly vaccinations for pets from the Animal Hospital, a solid wood entertainment center, oil changes, certificates, cakes and more. Michael Mardis' battle He was diagnosed with leukemia which had already reached the last stage of the disease in July 2011. After a very aggressive search he was blessed with a donor and received a bone marrow transplant in December 2011 at the University of Louisville. However, Mike has a long recovery ahead battling to beat the leukemia and complications that have occurred as a result of the transplant. He will be in and out of the hospital and hospitality house in Louisville over the next several months. Please join us in our efforts in helping Mike financially. All proceeds and donations will go toward paying for expenses incurred during Mike's battle. Michael is married to Rebecca Mardis and is the son of Harold and Eunonia Greer Mardis, all of Campbellsville KY. Mike's grandparents are the late Lemuel and Mattie Mardis of Campbellsville, KY, and the late Wesley and Francis Greer of Knifley, KY.
