Skywarn Weather Training at Jones Chapel, April 26, 2012 The training will be day after the 41st Anniversary of a F4 tornado which hit Adair County and took six lives Click on headline for story plus photo(s) from the storm By Greg Thomas Adair County Emergency Disaster Manager The National Weather Service along with Adair County Emergency Management and Jones Chapel Church will be hosting a Skywarn Weather Training on April 26, 2012 at 6pm central time. The training will be held at Jones Chapel Church located at 2267 Jones Chapel Road in Adair County and is free to anyone wishing to attend. An F4 tornado struck Adair County 41 years ago on April 27, 1971 and according to records, it caused six deaths and left people 58 injured.
