Two car injury accident on N. KY 55 Sunday, November 20, 2011 One driver taken to Taylor Regional Hospital By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY ADAIR COUNTY - Trooper Nick Davis is investigating a two vehicle collision that occurred at 4:10pmCT, Sunday, November 20, 2011. Anthony Henderson, age 18 of Henderson, was traveling South on KY 55 approximately six miles North of Columbia operating a 2011 Ford pick up. Janet Novielli, age 69 of Columbia, was also traveling South on KY 55 operating a 2008 Chevrolet four door. Novielli, who was belted, was attempting to turn right onto Farris Lane. Henderson, who was belted, failed to stop and struck the Novielli vehicle. Novielli was transported to Taylor County Hospital by Adair County EMS for non life threatening injuries. Henderson refused treatment at the scene. In addition to Adair County EMS, Trooper Davis was assisted at the scene by Trooper Jonathon Houk. The accident remains under investigation.
