Campbellsville, KY driver dies of injuries suffered in Marion crash

2000 Isuzu leaves roadway, strikes tree. Occurs on KY 208 between Calvary in Marion County and Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY,

LEBANON, KY - Trooper Morris Farris is investigating a fatal collision that occurred at approximately 4:50pmET, 6 miles west of Calvary on KY 208.

The collision occurred when a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, operated by Gerald Keith Schutt, age 29, of Campbellsville, KY was traveling Eastbound on KY208 when his vehicle left the westbound side of the roadway and struck a tree. Schutt was pronounced deceased by the Marion County Coroner at approximately 5:55pmET.

Trooper Farris was assisted at the scene by Sgt. David Gibbs, Trooper Ricky Underwood, Marion County Rescue and Marion County EMS.
