Mr. Woodson Lewis Milby of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill. He was 75 years, nine months and 21 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Lewis Milby will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery. Bro. Ernie Vincent will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday, October 14, 2011, until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Terry Milby, Glenn Milby, Ray Milby,Darrell Morrison, Billy Milby, and Ronnie Judd.

Mr. Woodson Lewis Milby of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Elmer Milby and Annie Patterson Milby, was born on Friday, December 20, 1935 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY. He was 75 years, 9 months and 21 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army.

He united in marriage to Maggie Ervin on May 19, 1974 who preceded him in death on November 29, 2003.

Survivors include the following:
  • A step-daughter: Ann Thompson of Greensburg. KY

  • Three brothers and three sisters: Hollis Milby of Greensburg, KY; Henry Milby and Rex "Bob" Milby both of Tennessee, Ruth Vittitow of Louisville, KY; Suzanne Hibbard of Indiana, and Joyce Vaughn of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Milby was also preceded in death by a step-son: Len Ray Young; two brothers: Leo Milby and Gene Milby; a sister: Diane Milby; and a half-sister: Maurene Judd.
